Fiction: Where to Start

4 – 9 August 2014    //   Residential Fiction Course

houseTŷ Newydd is the National Writers’ Centre for Wales and since 1990 has attracted writers from all over the world both as tutors and course participants. One of the loveliest and most historic houses around the Snowdonia National Park, Tŷ Newydd is set in exquisite, wooded surroundings, looking out over Cardigan Bay, between the shapely hills of Eifionydd and the sea, and with the mountains of Wales ranged round the horizon. The house, dating in part from the sixteenth century, offers up-to-date accommodation and facilities combined with a milieu in which individual work can happily flourish. Contact and supervision with skilled and approachable tutors who are themselves eminent practitioners in their own fields of writing ensure guidance, feedback and affirmation to those attending the courses.
